15th December: The origin of International Tea Day

Pakistanis love their tea. No occasion, meeting or festivity is finished without some tea, be it green, dark or pink. The International Tea Day is observed every year on December 15 since 2005 in tea creating nations like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Uganda, India and Tanzania.

International Tea Day intends to draw the worldwide consideration of governments and subjects to the effect of the worldwide tea exchange on laborers and producers and has been connected to demands for value backings and reasonable exchange.

After introductory dialogs at the World Social Forum in 2004, the principal International Tea Day was praised in New Delhi in 2005, with later festivals sorted out in Sri Lanka in 2006 and 2008. Worldwide Tea Day festivities and the related Global Tea Conferences have been together sorted out by profession union developments.
