Abdul Quddus Bizenjo elected new Chief Minster of Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly Saturday has chosen Abdul Quddus Bizenjo as the new CM in Quetta today (Saturday) days after Sanaullah Zehri was compelled to venture down in a no-certainty movement against him. The party session headed by Speaker Raheela Hameed Durrani started at 11.30 am. Durrani made the formal declaration after Bizenjo packed away 41 votes and Liaquat Agha 13.

Strict security arrangements of action have been set up in and around the party premises with pickets raised at four areas for security checking.

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid hopeful Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo and Pashtunkhuwa Milli Awami Party part Agha Liaquat competed for the best office of the province. Abdul Rahim Ziyaratwal, a PkMap hopeful, pulled back his application from the election. Bizenjo will now take vow of his office at 5 pm.
