Sharif Family Case: JIT members to give evidence to NAB officials

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has picked to take the data gathered by the six members from Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and include them as the principle witnesses in the four references against Sharif family.

Individuals from the JIT which incorporate Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Additional Director General Wajid Zia, Military Intelligence’s Brig Kamran Khurshid, National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Director Irfan Naeem Mangi, State Bank of Pakistan’s Amer Aziz, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s (SECP) Executive Director Bilal Rasool and Inter-Services Intelligence’s Brig Muhammad Nauman Saeed will record their announcements in from of the NAB request group. Equity Ijazul Ahsan, designated by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, will administer the cases. However his arrangement as the leader of the of the group has been tested in the court.

The Supreme court in its judgment in regards to the Panama issue had requested NAB to document references against the Sharif family incorporating his child in-law Capt ® Muhammad Safdar and NAB had been request to record the reference inside a time of a month and a half on the premise of the proof gathered by the JIT.

“On the off chance that the Accountability Court finds any deed, record or oath documented by or in the interest of the respondent(s) or whatever other person(s) to be fake, false, fashioned or manufactured, it might make proper move against the concerned individual as per law,” the court expressed.
