Sindh CM approves Rs100 million annual grant for Pakistan Hockey Federation

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved a Rs100 million repeating grant for Pakistan Hockey Federation to advance its exercises in the region and promised to remake Hockey Stadium.

This, he said while conversing with the designation of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) drove by its President Brig (R) Muhammad Khalid Sajjad Khokhar here at CM house on Monday, said an announcement. He said that he is quick to restore the lost glories of hockey. “I would expand all of you out help whatever you require however you need to actuate your clubs in province and need to begin global hockey in the city,” he revealed to PHF President.

President Hockey Federation Brigadier – Muhammad Khalid said that PHF was confronting money related issues. The hockey stadium has been pronounced as a hazardous building. On this the CM Sindh coordinated Secretary Finance Hassan Naqvi to discharge Rs 3.5 million inside three days and told the meeting that the commonplace government would reproduce the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey stadium.

He coordinated the main architect sports who was available in the meeting to begin overview of the stadium and make its PC-I for his endorsement. The PHF boss said that they require a significant yearly allow with the goal that they could proceed with their operation all finished Sindh. On this the CM Sindh affirmed Rs100 million yearly allow and guided secretary fund to discharge it inside next 10 days.
