2018 elections: Date to be announced after consultation, says ECP

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said that the date for General Elections 2018 will be reported after shared conference, a hour after its site specified July 31 as the date for the conduct of polls.

“The date and timetable of elections isn’t a comment concealed,” Altaf Hussain, a representative for the ECP revealed to Geo News. He said that an “unfilled connection was put on the ECP site.” Hussain said that a date for elections would be reported after common counsel. He included that the ECP would welcome all onlookers, including outsiders.
