Banks start to receive Hajj applications from today (Monday)

KARACHI: The assigned branches of banks will begin getting Hajj applications from Monday. This was expressed by Spokesperson Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Imran Siddiqi amid a meeting with Radio Pakistan’s journalist Muhammad Akram Khan.

He said Hajj applications will be gotten from aiming travelers till 24th of this current month at thirteen assigned bank branches crosswise over Pakistan, including Azad Kashmir.

The Spokesperson said that balloting for effective candidates will be hung on 26th of this current month. He said that successful candidates will be educated through SMS and general mail, while balloting results will also be accessible at www.mora.gov.pk.

Imran Siddiqi said that this year add up to one hundred seventy-nine thousand two hundred and ten explorers from Pakistan will perform Hajj. This will incorporate one hundred twenty thousand pioneers under government plot, while fifty-nine thousand two hundred and ten individuals will be taken under private Hajj conspire.

To an inquiry, he said Hajj bundle for north area will be two hundred eighty thousand rupees, while it will be two hundred seventy thousand rupees for south locale.
