Bureau director removed by Sindh University over sexual harassment charges

HYDERABAD: Sindh University (SU) has removed a bureau authority executive, Fida Chandio, from his post over charges of sexual harassment female students, said the varsity’s representative. As indicated by the SU representative, Fida Chandio is confronting sexual harassment charges. He included that the department executive has been expelled from his post.

In the interim, another man, Faraz Bughio, who is additionally confronting charges of sexual harassment, was not able join the Dadu campus where he was exchanged because of his offense. The Dadu campus administration declined to enable him to join their campus.

In a letter routed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and the college’s bad habit chancellor, two female students composing for “behalf female students who are casualties of badgering” ─ have looked for help and asked that move be made against instructors of the English Department.
