CM Shehbaz Sharif challenges opponents to launch probe into Multan Metro Bus project

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday challenged his opponents to dispatch corruption test into Multan Metro Bus project under National Accountability Bureau (NAB) statement. Tending to a function in Lahore, the CM expressed that corruption allegations against him were rejected by the experts.

He additionally expressed that Punjab government was burning through billions of rupees for central government’s national interstate undertakings. He included, “Without precedent for a long time, Punjab government is financing the projects of the national government.”

He commented that the administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took a credit for its metro project. Then again, “we are spending from our own pockets on ventures worth billions of rupees,” he included.

On the improvement extends in the country, he shared that Pakistan’s first IT university is being worked in Rahim Yar Khan, alongside a Rs24billion new street in Khanewal.
