Code of Conduct: ECP forbids Imran Khan to address PTI election rally in Lodhran

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in a notice to Imran Khan requesting that he abstain from tending to a decision rally of the PTI in Lodhran.

The election body has pronounced that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) boss’ deliver to the election meeting of its competitor Ali Tareen will be a rupture of the election code of conduct. The Returning Officer (RO) of NA-154 (Lodhran) has issued notification to Imran Khan and the party candidate Ali Tareen.

The election commission in its letter said that the head administrator, pastors and individuals from the parliament couldn’t visit a body electorate amid the decision battle.

The by-election in Lodhran is booked to be hung on February 12. The national get together seat was emptied after the Supreme Court pronounced the PTI focal pioneer Jahangir Tareen as excluded for a situation.

PTI, after exclusion of Tareen granted the gathering ticket to his son Ali Tareen to challenge the decision from Lodhran.
