Draft of bill for delimitation of constituencies finalized: Speaker National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary pioneers in the National Assembly have finished draft of Constitutional Amendment Bill for new delimitation of voting public. They conceded to the draft amid a meeting held in Islamabad today with Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq in the seat.

Afterward, preparation newsmen, the Speaker said as chose yesterday by parliamentary pioneers, there will be no expansion in general voting public of the National Assembly, and it will stay 272.

In any case, in the light of new populace enumeration, general seats of Punjab will descend by nine. Of them, five will go to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, three to Balochistan and one to Islamabad Capital Territory.

Ayaz Sadiq said there will be no adjustment in the general seats of Sindh, which will stay at seventy-five. So also, the quantity of FATA seats will be unaltered at twelve.

To an inquiry, the Speaker said there will be approximately seven hundred and eighty thousand populace in one body electorate.
