ECP issues the date of Senate elections, polling on March 3 2018

ISLAMABAD: Clouds of vulnerability over the much-anticipated Senate elections appeared to have cleared as the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued plan for the decisions on Monday.

As indicated by the schedule, the procedure of the polling for the seats of the upper house that will fall empty in March will started on February 03 with returning officers to issue open takes note. Possibility for the elections will have the capacity to present their selection papers from fourth to sixth February to the significant returning officer. Investigation of their designation papers will be finished by February 09 and rundown of yearning competitors will be issued on February 15 while the hopefuls will have the capacity to pull back their bid until February 16. Polling for Senate seats will be hung on March 3.

The Senate contains 104 individuals – 23 each from the four provinces, eight from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas and four from Islamabad.
