Election Reforms Act 2017 suspended by Islamabad court

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended Election Reforms Act (ERA) 2017 of every a case in regards to the end of Khatm-e-Nabuwat vow from Election Act.

Equity Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui commented that Election Reforms Act 2017 will stay suspended till the court takes up the case in the following hearing. The IHC judge additionally cautioned against the politicization of the issue.
