Fauzia Kasuri announces to resign from PTI

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) pioneer Fauzia Kasuri Wednesday reported her decision to quit the party saying that she had sent her resignation to chairman Imran Khan and other PTI individuals.

“It should not shock anyone to you that I have chosen to leave the PTI,” read a letter sent to the PTI chairman by Kasuri.

Expressing gratitude toward Khan for giving her a stage to build up her political career on, she said that since 2013, she had turned out to be progressively embittered by the direction the party had taken and never again considered it to be illustrative of desire of a huge number of undersized subjects looking for transformative change in Pakistan.
