Federal government shortens ban on Indian films on Eid

Centeral Board of Film Censors has overhauled the prohibition on the screening of Bollywood films in Pakistan amid the Eid season, nowis answered to have been restricted for seven days length.

Prior, the boycott was for two weeks, as the underlying office stipulated that the restriction will keep running from two days before Eid to two weeks after the occasion.

Nonetheless, another notice issued by the Information and Broadcasting Division of the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage says that the boycott will be seven days in length, beginning from Eid day on both Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha.
