Remote Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will depart for the Afghan capital Kabul on Sept 15 on a peace mission, ARY News revealed.
This will be the his first official visit to any country since he expected office on Aug 20.
Sources inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs say Mr Qureshi will visit the neighboring country at the welcome of his Afghan partner. Amid his stay in Kabul, he will hold a meeting with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani and would likewise welcome him for the benefit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Pakistan.
Sources say Qureshi will underscore the need to discover an answer for the Afghan clash through exchange and will likewise influence an offer to Kabul for the peace to process.
