ISLAMABAD: Former MNA from Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, Rashid Godil, joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Sunday amid a meeting with PTI Chairperson Imran Khan.
In an announcement issued around the same time, Imran said they were happy to have somebody from Karachi join the party as they needed to acquire change the city. He included Karachi is the financial hub of Pakistan, which was “not flourishing”.
In the wake of declaring his absconding, Godil addressed the media saying no choice on voting public was made during his meeting with Imran. “Have [only] joined PTI today.”
