Former PM Mir Zafarullah Jamali announces resigns from National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: Former PM Mir Zafarullah Jamali on Wednesday declared his resignation from the National Assembly and will send his formal resignation in touch with the Speaker Office.

Jamali, who hails from Balochistan’s Jaffarabad area told the National Assembly that if the PM and the oppostion leader are not happy with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) executive’s execution than they ought to leave, as the NAB chairman was selected after their common meeting.

Besides, while talking in the National Assembly Jamali censured the central government for not dispensing sufficient assets for Balochistan in the elected spending plan.

Jamali was a Prime Minster of Pakistan from 2002 to 2004 amid President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s residency.
