Four-Nation Hockey Tournament: Japan beats Pakistan 3-1 in International Festival of Hockey

MELBOURNE: After being lowered 9 – 1 by Australia, Pakistan lost to Japan 3-1 in the continuous Four-Nation International Festival of Hockey in Melbourne on Thursday.

Japan’s Kenta Tanaka scored the first goal of the match in the eighth minute and he multiplied his side’s lead in the 47th minute of the match. The third goal by Japan was scored in the 53rd minute by Genki Mitani. Pakistan’s Muhammad Atiq figured out how to pull one goal back in the 58th minute.
