General elections 2018 to be held in time: Chief Election Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza on Friday said that next general elections 2018 will be held in time in the country.

He was conversing with media in the wake of going to the starting service of vote enlistment office at time of new automated personality card (CNIC) here at National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) Mega Center.

Tending to the service, the Chief Election Commissioner said that this joint wander of ECP and NADRA will be useful to encourage the residents to having their place of vote enrollment all alone decision.

He said that this administration will be given to the subjects on issuance of new CNIC by getting their alternative of enlistment of vote according to perpetual or impermanent address.

He said the ECP needs to get ready discretionary comes in straightforward approach to keep from protests of any political party.

He said that with the assistance of NADRA the election commission will influence discretionary moves for election to process precise and unmistakable.

He offered the residents to participate with the NADRA staff for enlistment of their vote in precise discretionary moves of their own decision. He named as authentic day as NADRA and ECP have held hands to serve the country’s people.
