Govt extended the date for filing of tax returns till 31st October

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, Ishaq Dar on Friday endorsed expansion in the due date for documenting of Income Tax Returns/Statements by organizations, salaried people, different people and AOPs October 31, 2017.

The minister affirmed expansion in the date, in perspective of the solicitations made by the assessment bars and different exchange and different relationship because of Eid-ul-Azha and Muharram occasions, both falling in September, 2017. It was felt that the taxpayers did not discover abundant time for documenting of their expense forms. Accordingly, the minister permitted augmentation in the due date for recording of the profits.
