Govt to provide smartphones to farmers in Punjab

LAHORE: Punjab government will give 110,000 mobile phones to the farmers with a goal to keep them updated with latest technology about farming office suggestions about the crops. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will initiate a plan on Monday.

The enrolled farmers under Khadim-e-Punjab Kissan Package should pay 500 to 1000 rupees for procuring one shrewd cell phone. The administration will also give free-of-cost one GB web data for every month to the agriculturists.
