KARACHI: Pakistan hockey team on Saturday night left for Dhaka to take part in the Hero Asia Cup Hockey Cup 2017, booked to happen from October 11 to 22. Head coach Farhat Khan said that the national team consists of 18 players and he trusts the team would win the desired Asia Cup trophy, he said this while conversing with media.
Skipper of the team Muhammad Irfan approached the country to appeal to God for the achievement of the team. He said that the players have defeated their slip-ups in the past occasion. Every one of the players of the national team were looking certain and aficionado before takeoff at the airport. Mohammad Irfan will lead the team while Rizwan senior will be his representative.
The Asia Cup is booked to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from September 11 to 22. Pakistan goes up against have Bangladesh in the first match on the opening day before they confront Japan on Oct 13 while they play their third match against main adversaries India.
