I will raise visa problems faced by Pakistanis in Kuwait, Says Shireen Mizari

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari on Monday said visa issues being looked by Pakistani nationals living in Kuwait will be taken up with Kuwaiti authorities to address issues of abroad Pakistanis.

Reacting to a calling consideration see in the Senate, she said Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will bring the issue up in a meething with his Kuwaiti partner on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session in New York. She said the issue will likewise be taken up amid a two-day Pak-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission booked to be held in Islamabad on Thursday.

She said that Kuwait had informally bsnnrf visas to nationals of different countries in 2011, which incorporates Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran, on the guise of their claimed inclusion in medicate trafficking and criminal offenses.
