In retreat, Sharifs allowed open trial

ISLAMABAD: The pending two cases against previous PM Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and other relatives under the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will be attempted in open court.

The government bureau in its meeting here at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Wednesday turned around its choice of Friday last (July 13) for preliminary in Adiala jail. The decision could be changed by the preliminary court as per the circumstance once the hearing initiates.

The bureau talked about the general circumstance, including the situations where Nawaz Sharif and his relatives have been ensnared. Government Minister Syed Ali Zafar advised the media about the choices of the bureau after its sitting, yet it has been authoritatively expressed that the bureau endorsed withdrawal of a rundown dated July 13 and the request issued under sub-area B of Section-16 of the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999.
