India will lose the chance to hosting next year’s Asia Cup in September if the administration doesn’t permit the Pakistan Cricket Team in the country.
According to the minutes of a Committee of Administrators (CoA) meeting on November 21, as cited in The Times of India, “it’s uncertain whether the government of India will permit the Pakistan team to go to India for the tournament. If not, at that point the BCCI needs to illuminate the Asian Cricket Council of a similar with the goal that another host country can be concluded.”
India last played a bilateral series with Pakistan in 2012-2013 highlighting 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is. From that point forward, the two countries have played each other just at ICC occasions.
