Transgender in India are a bit nearer to equality after the province of Assam selected its first transgender on Saturday, Geo News announced.

Judge Swati Bidhan Baruah who has likewise turned into the third transgender to get hold of a judicary position in the country, ventured into her new part going up against the primary case in the Guwahati District Court.
