Interim govt decides not to increase petroleum prices: sources

ISLAMABAD: The interim government has chosen not to build costs of oil based goods, sources said on Thursday.

Caretaker Finance Minister Shamshad Akhter said that she would not settle on a choice like expanding the costs, as indicated by sources. The summary of increase in oil costs, sent to the PM by the back service, has likewise not been reacted to, the sources said.

The ministery had sent summary of proposals by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to the head, they included.

The OGRA on May 30 had sent a summary proposing increment in costs of different oil based goods powerful from June 1.
