Interior minister should resign if he is helpless, says Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said that Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal should resign if he is helpless.

Prior, the interior minister was kept by Rangers from entering the accountability court, where Nawaz Sharif showed up for the second time on Monday regarding three references documented by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the Sharif family, following which he debilitated to delicate his abdication.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chairman Sheik Rasheed additionally lashed out at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and said that the interior minister should resign.

He brought up that the PML-N needs to leave the legislature through power. “They should check 120 days from now onwards. It is possible that they will stay here or the matchless quality of law. PML-N needs encounter as it suits them the most,” he said.
