In a letter to the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) executive, the inside service said that generous reasons should to be accommodated including the names of previous PM Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain Safdar on the Exit Control List (ECL). Declining to put the names on the ECL, the inside service inquired as to why they should to be put on the list.
On Wednesday, NAB had requested that the inside service put the names on the ECL. As per reports, the demand was made through letters kept in touch with the inside service.
