ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will approach the Supreme Court challenging his indictment by a accountability court on defilement allegations. Citing Dar’s legal advisor Abdul Rehman, announced Tuesday, the finance minister will challenge Islamabad High Court’s decision in the summit court that rejected his two petitions against the indictment.
Prior on Oct 3, the division bench involving Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb had expelled the petitions for being non-viable.
The minister through his advice Khawaja Harris had contended that he was not enabled the base seven days to peruse the reference and voluminous reports previously his indictment for the situation under segment 265-C of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Along these lines, he argued the court to set aside his indictment.
