Mohammad Irfan files petition seeking removal of name from ECL

LAHORE: Fast bowler Mohammad Irfan on Saturday documented a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) looking for expulsion of his name from the Exit Control List (ECL), sources announced.

In the request, the cricketer expressed that he needs to leave for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. He expressed that his name was incorporated into ECL over the Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot-fixing scandal.

The quick bowler additionally specified that he has served his half year banned. Irfan argued the court to arrange concerned specialists to expel his name from ECL.
