NAB accuses Shehbaz Sharif of misusing powers as Punjab CM

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has blamed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Shehbaz Sharif of abusing his powers while being the CM of Punjab in a request relating to Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC).

Shehbaz Sharif was captured by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding the Ashiana Iqbal lodging plan case on Friday, after he showed up before the counter unite body in Saaf Pani Company case.

The NAB in its report said the inquiry directed so far uncovers adequate proof to demonstrate association of previous CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif “in the commission of offenses as characterized under segment 9(a) and Schedule of the National Accountability Bureau 1999.”
