National Assembly committee approves bill for drug testing in Islamabad’s educational institutes

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly endorsed a bill that tries to present drug tests in the government capital’s schools and universities in a move to abridge across the board manhandle of drugs in colleges and universities.

Two bills were affirmed by the Standing Committee on Cabinet identified with the mishandle of drugs. PPP’s Shahida Rehmani displayed the bill to clip down on the far reaching misuse of drugs in Islamabad’s education institutes. MNA Asiya Naz Tanoli introduced the bill that requested drug tests be made compulsory in schools and universities in Islamabad.

Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) Chairman Hasnat Qureshi respected the activity yet said that it is hard to actualize the law.
