ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has sent a reference against previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and MNA Ayesha Gulalai to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), looking to denotify from her seat.
The ECP affirmed that it has gotten the reference.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday had sent a notice to Gulalai expressing that she hosts absconded from the party as far as Article 63 A (1) of the constitution. “In assistance thereof and in consistence with the necessities of Article 63 A (2) of the Constitution, this presentation is being sent to you and in addition the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Chief Election Commissioner for additionally activity as per the Constitution,” expresses the notice.
Gulalai, an individual from the National Assembly from the PTI, quit the party not long ago in the wake of leveling affirmations of badgering and defilement at the PTI boss.
The notice, dated August 28 and sent to Gulalai’s personal residences in Islamabad and Peshawar, expresses that Gulalai on August 1 publically surrendered from the gathering, and did not vote in favor of the gathering’s assigned applicant in the leader’s races on August 1.
