National Cricket Stadium to be ready for PSL final in February, says Najam Sethi

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi on Wednesday said that the renovation of Karachi’s National Stadium for Pakistan Super League (PSL) last will be finished in February, Samaa announced.

Talking in a public interview on Wednesday, Sethi said that the renovation of National Stadium is going all out. He included that Dubai and Abu Dhabi are asking for matches to be arranged in their cricket grounds.

He said that review for PSL 1 has been finished though the review procedure for the second edition of the cricket league is in process.

Sethi went ahead to state that local players will be chosen in the cricketing league. He included, “We will endeavor to make more establishment in the league”.

“We trust that the establishments will bolster us in such manner as the privilege to pick the players rest with them,” Sethi said.
