Nawaz Sharif asks NAB chief to resign over ‘shameless’ allegations

ISLAMABAD: Former PM Nawaz Sharif has looked for abdication of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman for starting ‘shameless and politically-backed’ probe into asserted illegal tax avoidance connected to India.

Tending to a question and answer session today, the ex-PM deplored that the request started against him was simply based on a ‘secretive’ section distributed in a neighborhood Urdu Daily.

Perusing out a scripted substance of his presser, Sharif alluded to the public statement issued by NAB in illegal tax avoidance case and said “it demonstrated how the NAB chairman led character assassination and made it a mission to defame me.” He reviewed that his name was excluded in the Panama Papers, “yet what occurred next from the JIT formation to everything that followed will be recognized as dark section in the history.
