No dissolution of National Assembly before time, says Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has discounted the possibility of dissolution of the National Assembly before time, saying the administration would work until a day ago of its residency.

Mr. Khaqan expressed this while holding counsels with the pioneer of restriction in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah.

The pioneers talked about the issue of arrangement of a caretaker government, other than issues of national intrigue.

The Constitution of the nation requires counsel between the PM and the opposition leader for the appointment of a caretaker government to hold the following general elections, as the residency of the present government arrives at end by May 31.
