Opposition parties to protest against election rigging

ISLAMABAD: Major opposition parties are holding a protest show against asserted rigging in the general election hung on July 28.

Driven by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz stalwart Raja Zafarul Haq, the dissenters would walk towards the Election Commission of Pakistan to record their protest.

Spiked metal has been raised around the ECP headquerters as a feature of security courses of action, despite the fact that the opposition said their would hold a peaceful protest.

The protest is being gone to by the PMLN, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), the Awami National Party and the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP).
