Pemra’s warning to Hum TV, ARY and Geo for airing ‘indecent content’

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Tuesday served cautioning notification to Geo Entertainment, ARY Communications and Hum TV for airing “indecent content ” on various events, saying in the event of violations, an action will be made against them under applicable Pemra laws.

The notice expressed Pemra had looked for a clarification from ARY Communications, the sole arrival rights proprietor of HBO (Home Box Office), for airing “indecent content ” on April 10.
