ISTANBUL: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi arrived in Istanbul Thursday to lead Pakistan’s designation at the ninth D-8 Summit being held in this memorable Turkish city from October 19 to 21.
He was received at the Ataturk International air terminal by Deputy Governor of Istanbul Mehmet Ali Ulutas. Diplomat of Pakistan in Turkey Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi and senior embassy authorities were additionally present.
Amid the occasion, PM Abbasi will hand over the chairmanship of the D-8 Summit to Turkey. The Istanbul Summit is required to embrace an announcement and a plan of action. Major areas of participation in D-8 Charter are industry, agribusiness and sustenance security, vitality, exchange, transportation, and tourism.
