PM approved appointment of Rana Afzal as state minister for finance

ISLAMABAD: The appointment of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) official Rana Afzal Khan as state minister for back and income appears to be a measure short of what was needed, as the appointment is restorative in nature and can’t help review the descending slide in the finance ministry. Specialists trust that the choice of selecting a state serve rather than a government minster or pastor in-control would not help change the service, as the new priest has no skill in taking care of the service.

Sources in the legislature disclosed to Pakistan Today that, at first, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had proposed the appointment of a federal minister to manage the tumult in the financial affairs of the country, yet previous PM Nawaz Sharif did not permit the appointment of full priest, as he needed Ishaq Dar to continue making major decisions.

Rana Afzal, MNA from Faisalabad—is at present the parliamentary secretary for finance, however does not have any specialized mastery to help deal with the breaking down budgetary circumstance of the country.
