PM contradicts ex-PM, says Nawaz was ‘misreported’

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday held a question and answer session to “clear the disarray” over Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s statement on the Mumbai attacks, guaranteeing that Nawaz’s comments were taken “outside the realm of relevance” and were “misreported”.

Nawaz Sharif’s current meeting to Dawn has mixed a contention and has drawn anger of the country’s best polite and military authority with the National Security Committee (NSC) completely denying the announcement, calling it “totally false and deluding”.

The previous chief had stated: “Militant organisations are dynamic. Call them non-state performers, would it be a good idea for us to enable them to cross the border and killed 150 individuals in Mumbai? Disclose it to me. For what reason wouldn’t we be able to finish the trial?”

“We have confined ourselves. Regardless of giving sacrifices, our narrative isn’t being acknowledged. Afghanistan’s narrative is being acknowledged, however our own isn’t. We should investigate it,” he had said.
