PTI rejects parliamentary panel to probe Gulalai’s harrasement allegations, says Shireen Mazari

ISLAMABAD: In light of the current allegations on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman by Ayesha Gulalai, the proposed parliamentary board of trustees being set up to test these charges is named ‘not credible’ by the PTI.

PTI leader and MNA, Shireen Mazari composed a letter to NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, expressing that a parliamentary panel that incorporated PTI’s political adversaries ‘has no validity,’ in light of the fact that “political rivals can’t be informers, judge and jury.’

PTI’s view is that due to the nearness of other political adversaries in the gathering, it will lead bias results comes about which would not be acceptable.

“Such a one-sided committee will turn into an instrument for victimizing political rivals later on likewise and will set an awful parliamentary point of reference,” the letter said.
