Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr Yasmin Rashid, while conversing with media on Sunday, pledged that she would be moving toward the courts against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in regards to claimed enlistment of 29,000 false votes in NA-120, Lahore. She said they have reservations against ECP and will approach the court against them, including “I had said whether I win or lose, I will conflict with the ECP.”
PTI claims 29,000 votes enlisted in NA-120 were “bogus and have a place outside the constituency “. In addition, the party has documented an appeal to in the ECP relating to it.
Dr. Yasmin additionally stated: “Our battle has not finished. It will proceed as long as the ECP does not turn into a free establishment”. The PTI would report its next strategy amid a news conference on Monday, she educated.
“You demonstrated to us that middle class people like us can also challenge a election,” she said expressing gratitude toward her supporters.
