Sheikh Rashid lauds accountability court’s indictment of Sharif family

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) pioneer Sheik Rashid lauded the indictment of previous head administrator Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam and child in-law MNA Capt (retd) Safdar by the accountability court on Thursday.

Conversing with a private media outlet, Rashid expressed that such decisions are seen when the Constitution and law come first in a country. He included that he had finish confidence in the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) procedures for the situation.

“Today, the Constitution and law have been actualized,” he stated, including, “I have never condemned the courts. I didn’t reprimand the court which distributed discipline to me.”

Rashid declared that no country is of the view that the trial against the Sharif family is unfair.

Nawaz Sharif, Maryam, and Safdar were prior on Thursday indicted in a join reference identifying with the ownership for properties. The NAB court had rejected requests of the three encouraging to concede the prosecution.
