CAPE TOWN: South Africa’s Faf du Plessis has been named captain of the World XI team that is set to visit Pakistan one month from now for a three-coordinate T20 arrangement. The International Cricket Council (ICC) consented to help the arrangement in an offer to help resuscitate international cricket in Pakistan. The ICC World XI and Pakistan arrangement is set to get in progress between September 12-19.
As per reports, Du Plessis, the present Proteas T20 and Test captain, will skipper the World XI side. Hashim Amla is the second enormous name that is probably going to come to Pakistan.
Previous Zimbabwe skipper Andy Flower will coach the ICC World XI and has been relegated to choose the squad for the visit.
PCB executive Najam Sethi said on Monday that 15 players from seven nations had agreed to play in Pakistan. He said the names will be declared in a few days.
