Supreme Court suspends Ishaq Dar’s Senate membership

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday suspended previous finance minster Ishaq Dar as individual from the Senate over his inability to turn up before it regardless of rehashed summons.

Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, who was heading a seat of the apex court, deferred the case until after Eidul Fitr.

At the beginning, he asked the PML-N pioneer’s legal counselor to disclose with respect to when his client will feel all around ok to appear in the court. To which, the insight said the doctors treating Dar can just illuminate about when he will recover from disease.

The seat issued an interval arrange, suspending his participation of the Senate, and guided him to show up under the steady gaze of the court after his recuperation from sickness.

Justice Nisar said the case would be taken up after Eidul Fitr.
