Thousands of Sikhs rally in London against India

LONDON: Thousands of Sikh separatists and their supporters accumulated in London’s Trafalgar Square on Sunday to demand a refrendum on an autonomous country to be cut out of India.

They wielded pennants perusing “Free Punjab, End Indian occupation”, “Punjab Referendum 2020 for Khalistan” and “We will restore Punjab as an independent country”.

The dissent was sorted out by the US and Canada-based gathering Sikhs for Justice, and drew individuals from everywhere throughout the world, a large number of them droning “Khalistan”.
