LAHORE: A high level group meeting led by previous PM Nawaz Sharif is in progress at his Jati Umra living residence in Lahore.
PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Railways Minister Saad Rafique and Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb are going to the meeting among other key authorities and government delegates.
The meeting comes amidst an operation against Faizabad sit-in by security authorities.
Approximately 8,500 world class police and paramilitary troops in revolt adapt started clearing the 2,000 or so demonstrators that have involved the Faizabad trade for more than two weeks, not long after first light. The sit-in by the Tehreek-e-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan has hindered the fundamental parkway utilized by a large number of suburbanites since November 6, causing hours-long movement growls and irritating workers.
