Turkish plane crashes in Iran, Black box is recovered by Iran

Tehran: A private Turkish plane flying from the United Arab Emirates to Istanbul smashed Sunday in the south of Iran with 11 individuals on load up, Iranian state TV announced.

The plane had left from the emirate of Sharjah and went down close to the city of Shahr-e Kord, around 400 kilometers south of Tehran, it detailed. The airplane was a Canadian-made Bombardier, as per the Iranian news organization Tasnim.

It had eight travelers and three crew individuals on board, said Reza Jafarzadeh, leader of the Iran Civil Aviation Organization.
